Black Box has released a new disc of chamber music by Joby Talbot. It includes the Suite from The Dying Swan for piano trio, commissioned by the British Film Institute to accompany the 1916 silent film by Russian director Yevgeny Bauer, and another new work, Similarities between Diverse Things, commissioned by the artist Monroe Hodder in memory of her son. Also on the disc are Talbot's two short string quartets, which the Vanburgh quartet will perform on 15 May 2003 at the Bury St Edmunds Festival.
