New Novello signing Patrick Hawes has recently completed work on the music for the film 'The Incredible Mrs Ritchie'. A coming of age story inspired by true life events of writer / director Paul Johansson, the film is about a troubled boy who spends his spare time working as a handyman at the home of Mrs Ritchie, an elderly woman who has had an unfortunate life. Through his time with her and his work in her magical garden he comes to terms with a painful secret from his family's past. The film stars Gena Rowlands, Trevor Morgan and James Caan. The film is due to be released later this year.
