On May 10th, John Corigliano attends the spring gala which features ballet master Peter Martin’s new piece based on the composer’s Concerto for Violin “The Red Violin”. On the 25th, choreographer Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux serves us “Heart Full of Sorrow”, created from extant music by Bright Sheng – New York City Ballet’s new composer-in-residence.
