The annual Festival Présences, presented by Radio France, takes place between 16 January and 15 February this year and will feature a number of significant performances by Music Sales composers. Alongside a complete cycle of the symphonies of Hans Werner Henze, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, conducted by Jonathan Nott will give the French premiere of the composer's chamber ensemble work, L'heure bleue. The same concert will feature the world premiere of Rolf Wallin's Appearances, commissioned by the Ensemble. The following week, on 9 February Ensemble Ictus under Stefan Asbury will perform Magnus Lindberg’sClarinet Quintet and Corrente I.
