Marking the occassion of the birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra with conductor Valentin Egel present a concert featuring violinist Niklas Liepe and the Asian premiere of Rachel Portman's Tipping Points. The concert takes place on July 12 in the Main Hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre.
Liepe gave the world premiere of Tipping Points in Bonn, Germany in 2023, and has performed the work several times around the world since. This marks the work's first performance in Asia, where it is be programmed alongside works by Bernstein, Handel and Debussy.
