Drawing from Baroque influences and fusing them with modern sounds, Stephen McNeff's new Violin Concerto pushes musical boundaries in a programme feeding on innovation. The work was written for violinist and friend of the composer, Fenella Humphreys, who will perform the world premiere alongside the London Mozart Players on November 21 at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London.
The work was commissioned by the John Armitage Memorial Trust in partnership with the London Mozart Players.
