On June 29, Münchner Kammerorchester, conducted by Gregor A. Mayrhofer, dedicates it’s concert at Schwere Reiter to the facets of beauty and presents world premieres of pieces that focus on different, often extreme, aspects of beauty.

One of those premieres is Tobias PM Schneid’s work Beauty:…melancholy…wild…, a portrait for 20 solo strings. For Schneid the sound color is of great significance in this piece, that tries to find a compositional approach to the original meaning of the term beauty, which has become inflationary and generalized in our current time.
