From May 9 to 18, ACHT BRÜCKEN festival Cologne will spotlight the works of portrait composer Kaija Saariaho. Centered around the theme of “Light,” the festival presents a diverse programme that explores Saariaho’s evocative musical interpretations of light and darkness, including ensemble, and orchestral works as well as a chamber opera.
