Rooted in a psalm written by Bruun himself, the cello concerto tell the story of a journey from the waters' depth to the quiet surface.

 

The Award ceremony will be held on April 30 in Copenhagen. 

Carl Prisen is awarded by the Danish Music Publishers’ Association. The prize was founded in 2013 and named after composer Carl Nielsen. Prizes are awarded to composers and songwriters in 15 different categories spanning different music genres.
