Ensembles feature Wise Music works

The works of Wise Music composers both locally and around the world, are inspiring Australian ensembles across the country. Here are some exciting examples of recent and still-to-come music-making to delight our audiences.

The Australian Festival of Chamber Music, recently held in Townsville, featured resident composer Sally Beamish who travelled from the UK to attend. The program included a performance of Beamish’s Carnival Samba and the world premiere of her Crescent.

Earlier this month, the Richard Bonynge Ensemble performed Time is a River by Graeme Koehne in the concert Time Present/Time Past held at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith, NSW.

Still to come, Ensemble Offspring will perform Still Life with Avalanche by Missy Mazzoli.
