The works of Wise Music composers both locally and around the world, are inspiring Australian ensembles across the country. Here are some exciting examples of recent and still-to-come music-making to delight our audiences.

The Australian Festival of Chamber Music, recently held in Townsville, featured resident composer Sally Beamish who travelled from the UK to attend. The program included a performance of Beamish’s Carnival Samba and the world premiere of her Crescent.

Earlier this month, the Richard Bonynge Ensemble performed Time is a River by Graeme Koehne in the concert Time Present/Time Past held at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith, NSW.
