On September 16–18, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company will present Total Ellipse choreographed to five Eydís Evensen works from her 2021 album Bylur, with a live stream on September 17 at 7:30 local time, from Jeanne Wagner Theater in the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. The compositions being performed to are Deep Under, Dagdraumur, The Northern Sky, Wandering II and Fyrir Mikael.
Icelandic pianist and post-classical composer Evensen released her debut album Bylur on XXIM Records in April 2021 and four pieces from this album The Northern Sky, Midnight Moon, Bylur and Deep Under arranged for piano and string orchestra are now available to perform.
