Saariaho wins BBC Music Magazine Award

Held on April 9 at King’s Place, Saariaho was awarded best Premiere Recording for the CD which includes the works D’Om Le Vrai Sens, Laterna Magica and Leino Songs. The recording features performances by the renowned Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra lead by Sakari Oramo, soprano Anu Komsi and clarinetist Kari Kriikku.
