Associated Music Publishers and the Music Sales Group of Companies are sad to announce the death of American jazz legend Dave Brubeck, who passed away on December 5 2012 in Connecticut, one day shy of his 92nd birthday.

Equally distinguished as composer and pianist, Brubeck enjoyed popular success with the Dave Brubeck Quartet. The group's experimentation with time signatures and polytonality produced standards like Blue Rondo a la Turk and Take Five. His works published by Associated Music Publishers and Shawnee Press range from major works for chorus and orchestra to small gems for solo piano.
