Alberto Iglesias to receive the Espiga de Honor at the 57th edition of the Seminci
11th October 2012
Javier Angulo, director of the Semana Internacional de Cine de Vallodolid (the Seminci) announced in October that the acclaimed Spanish composer, Alberto Iglesias, will receive the most important award at the film festival. Iglesias, who has previously been nominated for Best Original Score at the Oscars, will also give a masterclass open to the public at the University of Valladolid within the programme of the film festival.
This year, the famous celebration of great film will be screening 160 titles in only 8 days, which the organisers describe as a 'varied, emotionally-rich menu'.
