Once Around the Sun
20th May 2005

Over the twelve pieces, we follow the year-long journey of the composer, and experience the inspirations for his pieces: from family outings, to the British weather to the Hudson River in New York. The combination of piano, cello, violin, harp and percussion evokes a sense of calm and tranquility and invites the listener to encapsulate every mood as the journey progresses from January to December.
