Congratulations to Scottish composer Craig Armstrong who has won a Bafta award for his score to the acclaimed film 'Moulin Rouge'. This is the second time he has won this award, the first being for the music to another Baz Luhrmann film 'Romeo+Juliet'. In January the score to 'Moulin Rouge' also earned Craig the Golden Globe Award for ‘Best Original Music’ as well as the prestigious American Film Institute Award for ‘Best Composer’.
Craig's concert music is published by Chester Music, including 'Slow Movement' from 'Romeo + Juliet'. His next concert commission is a large scale work for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
