Esa-Pekka Salonen was honoured with a President Merit Award at the Recording Academy’s 9th annual GRAMMY salute to Clasical Music in February. A Grammy was also awarded to André Previn and Anne-Sophie Mutter for their recording of Previn’s Violin Concerto on Deutsche Grammophon.
