Sallinen at 70

The German premiere of Symphony No 8 given by the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz conducted by Ari Rasilainen on April 13 coincides with the launch of their CD of the work, which is the second in CPO’s cycle of the complete Sallinen orchestral music; the third disc to be released in June.
