Henze awarded German Music Authors' Lifetime Achievement Award

Hans Werner Henze has been named the recipient of the 2011 German Music Author’s Lifetime Achievement Award The prize is presented by GEMA – the German copyright society - for the third time and acknowledges the outstanding contribution of musical authors to cultural life of today’s society. On April 14 2011 Hans Werner Henze will accept the award personally during a formal presentation in Berlin.
