This year's Grammy Awards include nominations for Kaija Saariaho, John Tavener and Debbie Wiseman. Debbie Wiseman's settings of Oscar Wilde's fairy tales The Nightingale and the Rose and The Selfish Giant on Teldec have been nominated for Best Spoken Word Album for Children. Nominations in the category for Best Classical Contemporary Album include Harmonia Mundi's recording of John Tavener's Total Eclipse and Agraphon, as well as Naïve Montaigne's recording of Kaija Saariaho's Lonh. The awards will be made on 27 February.
