“From Heraclitus to Stephen Hawking, in our civilization it has been attempted more than a thousand times to look into the hidden face of time. Millions of answers have already been formulated, however every one of these offers thousands of new questions. So, why of all places do we ask the same question in the performing arts? Actually, especially in theatre we are faced with its dreadful disposal as well as with the fascinating beauty of its secrets.” Above forms the basis of Slovenian director Tomasz Pandur’s concept for the ballet “Symphony of Sorrowful Songs” which celebrated its world premiere in Berlin on 24th April starring the world famous director of Staatsballett Berlin Vladimir Malakhov to great acclaim. Many more performances are to come, two of which will be part of the 3rd International Dance Summit 2010 in Berlin. 28 Apr | 19.30 30 Apr | 19.30 05 Mai | 19.30 11 Mai | 19.30 3rd International Dance Summit 13 Mai | 18.00 3rd International Dance Summit 20 Mai | 19.30 21 Mai | 19.30 29 Mai | 20.00
