Audiences at the Linbury Studio of London's Royal Opera House are to be given a sneak preview of Tarik O'Regan's new opera Heart of Darkness when excerpts are performed in concert on April 15 and 17 2010. The performances are part of ROH2's Exposure series, a showcase for new opera and works in progress. O'Regan's opera, which is based on the novella by Conrad with a libretto by Tom Phillips, will be premiered by Opera East at the Linbury Studio in Autumn 2011.
