Danish composer Hans Abrahamsen’s ten canons for ensemble, Schnee , is among the 13 works competing for this year's prestigious, major Nordic Music Prize for works by living composers. The theme for the Nordic Council's Music Prize in 2010 is "A contemporary work in which all involved play their own part". The winner will be announced on June 1st 2010.
