The acclaimed ballet Edward II will receive a further run of performances at the Stuttgart Opera House from July 18-24 with the Stuttgart Ballet. This ballet, with music by John McCabe and choreography by David Bintley, was commissioned by Stuttgart Ballet and has now received well over 60 performances internationally since its premiere in 1995. A recording of the score is available on Hyperion CDA67135 with the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, conducted by Barry Wordsworth.
