Chester Music has recently signed an agreement with the French independent film production company and publisher MK2 to represent the MK2 cataolgue outside France. The catalogue includes many important films by Claude Chabrol, including Merci, pour le chocolat and L’enfer, Zbigniew Preisner’s scores including the celebrated music for the Kieslowski film trilogy Three Colours Blue, White and Red. The soundtrack CDs of the Three Colours films have sold more than one million copies worldwide since first release in the mid-nineties and have also been re-released in France on the MK2 Music label now distributed by Harmonia Mundi.
