MacRae at ABO Conference

On 1 February, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra will give a late-night performance of The Witch’s Kiss by one of Scotland's leading young composers, Stuart MacRae. The performance will be conducted by Pierre-André Valade. The following day the composer will take part in a panel discussion at the ABO conference at the Glasgow Moat House on the subject of “Contemporary Music: Composers and Artistic Direction”. The discussion will be chaired by the Principal of the Royal Northern College of Music, Edward Gregson, and will include, among others, Paul Rissmann and Michael Torke.
