With a particular focus on Danish music, the week will also see performances of music by Vagn Holmboe, Per Nørgård, Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen, Bo Holten and Bent Sørensen.

Eric Whitacre will be present the symposium as a composer in residence, taking part in a ‘Meet the Composer’ session and Composer Roundtable discussions.
American chamber choir Conspirare will feature pieces by Tarik O’Regan in its evening concert, and Simon Halsey will focus on O’Regan’s Tu, trinitias unitas in his workshop on contemporary choral music. The Riga Youth Choir Kamer... will perform the recently-commissioned work The Eternal Sun by John Tavener.
