Cheltenham marks Berners’ 125th
The music of Lord Berners will be a feature of this year’s Cheltenham Music Festival in the 125th anniversary of his birth.

On July 19 Peter Dickinson will give an illustrated talk with piano music in anticipation of the launch of his latest book Lord Berners: Composer, Writer, Painter presenting a portrait of one of the most remarkable figures in early twentieth century arts. The following day, Berners’ L’ Uomo dai Baffi will performed in concert by the Festival Academy Players conducted by Martyn Brabbins.
