Don’t miss the opportunity to travel to Lille on the new super fast Eurostar on April 2 for the world premiere of Eau by Joby Talbot . Two year’s in the making Eau is an evening long work for symphony orchestra and a quintet of soloists written for the Carolyn Carlson (Dance) Company. Carlson heard Talbot’s work on a radio broadcast and sought him out for a major collaboration. The work embraces the personality of water through movements and tableaux entitled: Dew Point/Primal Waters; Abyss/Deep Waters; Leviathan/Violent Waters; Arral Sea / Polluted Waters and Lake Esperance/Sacred Waters. Conducted by Christopher Austin the Orchestra National de Lille will perform the work in the Opera de Lille with the 12 exceptional dancers of Carlson’s Company.
