Alberto Iglesias has signed an exclusive agreement with the Music Sales Group whereby Iglesias will be published by the Music Sales Spanish affiliate, Unión Musical Ediciones. The agreement covers Iglesias’s existing work in all media, including his many award-winning film scores for the Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar (All about my mother, Talk to her, Volver etc) and is signed just as Iglesias’s reputation has spread internationally through his work in mainstream American film with his scores for Fernando Meirelles’ The Constant Gardener, Steven Foster’s The Kite Runner and the upcoming Steven Soderbergh features The Argentine and Guerrilla. Chris Butler, Chief Operating Officer of the Music Sales Group, comments ‘We have followed Alberto’s work with increasing interest and admiration and are delighted to have entered into a long term agreement’. On signing the agreement Iglesias said ‘I greatly welcome the chance to work with the Music Sales Group and look forward to exploring a range of new areas of activity over the years to come’.
