Warsaw Autumn Festival

Composers from across the range of the Music Sales catalogue are represented at this year’s Warsaw Autumn festival.

At the opening concert on 21 September Anssi Kartunnen will give the Polish premiere of Kaija Saariaho’s cello concerto Notes on Light with the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Reinbert de Leeuw.

Two generations of Danish composers will have works performed - Per Nørgård with ".. through thorns.." on 22 September and Bent Sørensen with movements from his Ständchen on 28 September.

Hayagriva by Param Vir will receive its Polish premiere on 26 September in a performance by Klangforum Wien conducted by Beat Furrer.
