Following the highly successful CD release of concertos by Edward Gregson on the Chandos label in 2003, three more concertos are due to be recorded in September 2007 by the same company. On this second volume disc there will be premiere recordings of his Trumpet Concerto, Concerto for Piano and Wind , and his more recent Saxophone Concerto. The soloists will be Ole Edvard Antonsen (trumpet), Nelson Goerner (piano), and Nobuya Sugawa (saxophone). The BBC Philharmonic will be conducted by Clark Rundell, who has conducted a number of works by the composer. Release of the new CD is expected to be in the Spring of 2008.
