The internationally renowned Finnish composer Kaija Saariahohas renewed her long term exclusive relationship with Chester Music, part of the Music Sales Group of companies. Saariaho’s music is performed all over the world and her pool of artistic collaborators continues to grow. Among them are soloists Karita Mattila, Dawn Upshaw, Pia Freund, Anssi Karttunen, Emanuel Ax, Garth Knox, Camilla Hoitenga, writer Amin Maalouf, choreographers Carolyn Carlson and Karole Armitage, director Peter Sellars and conductors Esa-Pekka Salonen, Robert Spano, Kent Nagano, Franz Welser Möst, Susanna Malkki and Ernest Martinez Isquierdo. The list goes on, as does Saariaho’s ability to create work in her matchless musical world.
