Previn: "Streetcar" in Austria

André Previn's renowned opera A Streetcar Named Desire will receive its Austrian premiere on 28 February at Theater an der Wien in Vienna. Norwegian Stein Winge, one of Europe's leading directors, will stage this opera version of Tennessee Williams' psychological drama. Janice Watson and Teddy Tahu Rhodes star as Blanche DuBois and Stanley Kowalski, respectively, and Sian Edwards leads the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
