From January to May 2007 The Aventa Ensemble features concerts with music by a row of Danish Composers on their winter tour in Montreal, Toronto, Halifax and New York.
Aventa's Artistic Director, Bill Linwood, leads the ensemble in a program of Danish and Canadian music, which concludes in New York with the US premiere of Poul Ruders, Abysm. During the tour Aventa will also present the North American Premiere of Anders Nordentoft's On This Planet, featuring Denmark's Thomas Sandberg.
