On February 23, John Storgårds (violin and director) and the Chamber Orchestra of Lapland will give the world premiere of Five Pieces for Violin and Strings by Malcolm Arnold in Ivalo, Finland. The work is an arrangement of the composer’s Five Pieces for Violin and Piano, a work given its first performance by Yehudi Menuhin in 1965.
