The world premiere of a major new orchestral work by Simon Bainbridge takes place at London’s Barbican Centre on February 9. Diptych is a 33-minute work in two contrasting parts, one of which will be performed in each half of the concert, given by David Robertson and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
