Summary
Greg A Steinke is a composer of chamber and symphonic music and author with published/recorded works and performances across the US and internationally, a speaker on interdisciplinary arts, and an oboist specializing in contemporary music.
Dr. Steinke is on the board of directors of National Association of Composers USA (NACUSA). He is the former Joseph Naumes Endowed Chair of Music/Art and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Marylhurst University in Oregon. He was Associate Director of the Ernest Bloch Music Festival (1993–97) and Director of the Composers Symposium (1990–97) in Newport, Oregon. He served as the National Chairman of the Society of Composers, Inc. (1988–97).
