Summary
Lynn Ahrens is an American lyricist and librettist. She and longtime collaborator, composer Stephen Flaherty, have earned top Broadway honors, including the Tony, Drama Desk and Olivier, plus nominations for four Grammys and two Academy Awards. Notable musicals include Ragtime, Seussical, Once On This Island and Anastasia (Broadway and feature film.) Individually, Ahrens is an Emmy winner and mainstay writer for animated series Schoolhouse Rock. Theater Hall of Fame inductee, 2015.
