Biography

Born in 1962, Vincent Paulet spent most of his studies at the Paris Conservatory, where he studied with Serge Nigg and Claude Ballif. His training as an organist, with Arsene Muzerelle Reims and Gatson Litaize, led him to pursue a concert career, until 1994 when he chose to move his focus onto composition alone. He served a residency at Casa de Velázquez in Spain from 1994 to 1996 and a professorship at Cursos Manuel de Falla in Granada. He has also acted as a member of many international composition judging panels, national theatres and composer in residence at conservatories. He currently teaches at the Lille Conservatory, focussing on composition and orchestration.
