Bent Sørensen in Montréal, and with Andsnes in Vienna, Amsterdam and London

Bent Sørensen has just been one of a selection of Nordic composers in focus at the Canadian festival MusiMars in Montréal, which ran from 27th February until 2nd March. And when the Norwegian master-pianist Leif Ove Andsnes gives concerts in the Vienna Musicverein, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the London Wigmore Hall on 5th and 9th April as well as 18th May, it will also be with Sørensen on the programme and the piano solo piece The Shadows of Silence from 2003/04, written for Andsnes as a commission from the Carnegie Hall Corporation.
