Salonen will conduct this world premiere ballet, which will feature acclaimed violinist Leila Josefowicz, for whom the piece was written.

Melissa Barak, currently a member of the Los Angeles Ballet and a former NYCB dancer, will choreograph a new work entitled Call Me Ben to a score by young New York composer Jay Greenberg entitled Neon Refracted. Barak was the youngest choreographer ever to be commissioned by the Company at the age of 22 in 2002.
